Britney Spears Maui Fantasy

Hey all!

There's a new Britney Spears perfume on the market, Maui Fantasy. Apparently it was released in January 2016, but in Sweden where I live it was released in May I belive. And since I like most of Britney's fragrances I was really excited when I saw this was about to be released, and I had to have it.
To me this is a very summery fragrance. A tropical scent and I can sometimes smell a hint of raspberry - even though raspberry isn't in the notes.. Oh well.. ;) The bottle is as all the other Fantasy fragrance bottles super cute!

"The fragrance opens with a mouthwatering combination of bird of paradise flower, pink grapefruit and passion fruit. The heart is a heady mix of beachy florals such as hibiscus petals, cyclamen, orange blossom and tiare flower (Hawaiian monoi). The base brings a warm and sensual aura with accords of coconut, vanilla, blue musk, white amber and beachy blonde woods."

I really really like it and as I said, perfect summer scent. And even though this is a Eau de Toilette, on me it stays on the whole day.

Also the box is super cute too. Not that it matters a lot, but still..

Here's what I've used up lately.

Britney Spears Fantasy shower gel - The lovely Fantasy scent in a shower gel, what could go wrong?
Yves Rocher Grapefruit shower gel - Smells lovely!
The Body Shop Ginger shampoo - Great shampoo if you have a dry scalp, and it smells lovely. I'm sure I'll get this again.
The Body Shop Grapefruit body butter - Nice scent and consistency, it's a very creamy body butter and that's how I like them to be.
Rexona deodorant - Pretty much the only deodorants I use.

REN Glycolactic skin renewal peel mask - I liked the product, I have one more sample size to use up. Might repurchase at some point.
REN Pore minimizing detox mask - This was very dry, I don't know if I got a bad one.. but it didn't do much.
REN Clarimatte clarifying toner - Great product! I will repurchase!
La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo+ - It's a good product and I can see my skin is looking better when I use it, but I don't like the silicony feeling it has.
La Roche Posay Effaclar K - It was ok, but I don't think I'll repurchase.
Dermalogica Skin smoothing cream - Nice product but a little to heavy for my oily skin.
REN Matte balancing fluid - I really liked this cream, it did keep my oily skin pretty matte. However, I don't like the scent..
ELF Zit zapper - Ok product, don't think I'll repurchase.

Nivea Make up remover - Great product, takes of even waterproof make up. Will by again.
DJV beautenizer Volume lash - Really great mascara which I've used for years.
Laura Geller Glam lash - Well no, it didn't do much for my lashes. No volume or lenght.
The Body Shop Strawberry hand cream - Lovely product and smells soo good!
Davidoff Cool Water woman - I used to love this perfume and wore it all the time. I still like the scent but it's not one of my must haves anymore.
Eucerin Aquaphor - Great for dry lips, elbows or whatever you want to use it for.
Lumene eyebrow pencil - I liked it, maybe a little to soft for it to stay on all day. But a good budget buy!

Favourite self tanners - Cocoa Brown + St. Tropez

I wanted to share my favourite self tanners today.

Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter "1 hour tan mousse dark" - This is the best one I've ever tried. Usually I find that mousse tans just washes all of when you wash of the guard colour, and then what's the point? But this one stays on up to at least five days. And there is no fake tan smell to this product, hallelujah! I found out about this product thanks to watching the lovely Sam Schuerman's videos on youtube. :)

Cocoa Brown by Marissa Carter "Instant tan bronzing gel" - Amazing product. Gives a nice looking tan in a few minutes. Gives a lovely colour, smells good and does not transfer on to your clothes. Thumbs up!!

St. Tropez "Gradual tan tinted" - Gives a nice colour but takes a little longer to dry as it's a cream. The only thing I don't like is that it has that fake tan smell after a while.

The Body Shop ~ Piñita Colada

A few months back I bought the new limited edition products for the summer at The Body Shop. I'm sure you've all heard about it or tried it by now, but I just wanted to mention it because it smells soo good. Just started using it so I can't give a proper review, but if you're familiar with their products you know.. right. :)

Hey all!

I recently bought this perfume, Missoni EdP by Missoni, and I absolutely love the scent, however it doesn't suit me at all. It smells soo good in the bottle but when I spray it on me.. I don't know what happens. I'm not sure what to do with it, I mean the bottle is cute enough to just keep for display.. but yeah, I don't know. Maybe I'll try to sell it.

According to Fragrantica.com this is a floral-fruity-woody composition.
A trio of Italian citruses, which include bergamot, lemon and citron, begins the composition together with pear.
The heart notes include floral molecules of maholia (dense floral notes with undertones of jasmine), Petalia (Givaudan molecule that smells like fruity rose/peony) and Sambac jasmine.
The base ends with tones of sandalwood, tonka bean and ambroxan.

What do you do when you have a fragrance you can't wear? Keep it or sell it?
Also, what are your favourite perfumes?

New in from Yves Rocher

Hey all!

I recently placed two orders from Yves Rocher and I thought I'd show you what I got. Most of these products are new to me, but I don't think many of them are new releases.

Hey all!

It's time for another empties post, this is what I've used up lately..

Dove Intensive repair shampoo - I've mentioned this before, I liked it. Good budget option.
Dove Intensive repair conditioner - Again, good budget option.
Nivea Cream shower - Good one. I might get a full size of this at some point.
Bliss Lemon + Sage soapy suds - Smells good but the consistency was a bit odd in my opinion.
Yves Rocher Organic vanilla Shower gel - Smells so so good! And the scent stays on for a long time.
Yves Rocher Pear Caramel Shower gel - Amazing! Both the scent and the consistency. Unfortunately this was a limited edition one.. I hope they'll bring it back!

The Body Shop Early Harvest Raspberry body butter - I love everything about this! The scent is amazing! Too bad this is another limited edition product, but sometimes you can find it in the sales.
The Body Shop Argan Oil body butter - I love the scent of this one too, but I find the butter is too heavy for me. I don't think I'll repurchase for that reason, but I'd like to try the body lotion.
Emma S Cleansing facial wash - It was ok, nothing special in my opinion. Doesn't remove makeup very well, but if you don't use makeup it's ok.
The Body Shop Glazed Apple body butter - They need to make this permanent! This is the best scent ever and I don't think it's very Christmasy.. it's fruity and works all year around!
Baby lips balm - Ok, nothing more. Nice scent though.
ELF sit zapper - works just fine.
Charlotte Tilbury Full fat lashes mascara - This was a great mascara! I wish it was easy to get hold of but it isn't, so I won't repurchase for now.
