Review - Amika shampoo and mask

Hey all!

I posted a haul of Amika products many months ago now and I realised I never wrote a review of any of the products I got. So I thought maybe I should do that today. :)
Just to let you know, my hair is typical scandinavian, straight, thin and flat with zero volume.

Here we go...

Amika Triple Rx Shampoo - I got this hoping it would help with my dry and itchy scalp. Maybe it got a little bit better, at least it didn't get worse. This shampoo is sulphate free and that's supposed to be a good thing right? Well not for me I'm afraid. I've tried a few sulphate free shampoos and I can never get my hair clean when I use them. I'm always left with oily and greasy roots and that's not what I want when I wash my hair. I got the same result with the Amika Rx. The weird thing is the ends of my hair got so so dry and it was super difficult to brush it even after using the mask. And the shampoo is supposed to be best for "dry and damaged hair".. I used up half the bottle before I gave up. Wont repurchase. 1/5

Amika Nourishing Mask - This is a good one! Not paired with the Amika Rx shampoo though, for my hair these two weren't a good combination. But when I use the mask after any other shampoo it is amazing. Thick and creamy and it's no problem brushing even wet hair, the brush glides easy peasy through my hair. I love it and would recommend it to everyone! 5/5

Amika haircare haul

Recently my hairdresser recommended the Amika Rx shampoo and the Nourishing mask for my dry and itchy scalp. I found a great price for the duo online so I thought I'd give them a go. A few days later I saw a 3 for 2 offer so I decided to also get a few styling products; the touchable hairspray, the perk up dry shampoo and also the bombshell blowout spray. I just got them so I haven't had a chance to try any of the products yet, but I can't wait to do so. Also, I love the cute and colourfull packaging.
Have you tried any products of the Amika range? Thoughts and opinions?
