Hi guys!
It's time for beauty favourites 2017.
Let's start with skincare...
REN Clarimatte clarifying toner - This is amazing! Sadly I've used up mine and it's not easy to find where I live.
Bliss Micro Magic - This is the best scrub I've ever tried. I think it's discontinued though, because I haven't seen it in store for a long time.
Clinique Moisture surge moisturising supercharged concentrate - Amazing lightweight moisturiser. I use this alone or together with the "normal" moisture surge cream.
Clinique All about eyes - The best eye cream! This or the rich version.
GlamGlow Supermud - The best mud mask! Maybe the best mask of all...
Next is fragrance...
Juicy Couture "Viva la Juicy Sucré" - Oh how I love this scent! It's sweet and warm at the same time. And it's not over powering. It's a cupcake in a bottle!
Yves Saint Laurent "Black Opium Floral Shock" - This was love at first sniff! This fragrance is a bit stronger but it's also sweet and warm, but it has a better sillage.
Let's do makeup...
Estee Lauder Double Wear foundation - I use Fresco and Pebble and I usually mix them togheter to get the perfect shade. This foundation is the only one that stays on all day on me.
Tikei Mineral Primer - This is my setting powder. It's amazing! It blurres the pores and mattifyes the shine. And it's not very expensive either.
And finally eye makeup...
Fleur de Force eyeshadows - I think this is in "Cosmic bronze". I love the shades as they are perfect for everyday use but you can also smoke it up if you want to.
H&M Eye pencil in Panther - When this sets it sets for real. It even stays put in the waterline on me and no other eye pencil has ever done that. So I highly recommend these.
Depend Triangular Eyebrow pencil in Taupe - I've only used this and the Anastasia Brow wiz this year and both are excellent. The Depend pencil is a little bit more creamy in consistency but it stays on all day without smudging!
Maybelline Lash Sensational mascara - The best mascara I've tried this year and ever, I think.
What are your beauty favourites this year?
Happy New Year - see you in 2018!
Blogging mostly about makeup and beauty, but every now and then I'll include music, books, food, fashion and other bits and pieces I find fun and intresting.

Summer / August favourites
Hi guys!
I know I haven't done a favourites post before but I thought today I would share what I've been loving thruough August, and for most of the summer really.
Mostly makeup but also a few skincare items and a perfume. This is my thoughts...
Juicy Couture "Viva La Juicy Sucré" - This is such a sweet and cosy scent. It's soft but I think it stays on for several hours on me. I bought the 100 ml bottle, that's how much I love it.
REN "Clarifying toner" - I had used this before and stopped for some reason, probably because I was trying something else. But recently I've had some issues with breakouts and I started using this again and though it's not solved the issue completely it's definitely looking better. I'm thinking my skin likes the acids in this..
Clinique "Take the day off balm" - I was curious to try this as I've heard Caroline Hirons talking about it (before she released her own balm cleanser) and it's really good. Takes off all of my makeup, except for my mascara weirdly enough. But I don't mind using something else for that.
Tikei "Mineral Primer" - I rediscovered this in my stash when I needed a good powder during this summer. It's really porefilling and keeps my foundation in place and looking matte. This is something I struggle with during summer as my skin is super oily. But this helped a lot!
Estee Lauder "Double Wear foundation in Fresco" - This is the best foundation I've ever tried. It stays in place all day and it's not heavy on the skin. I do get some shine come thru at the end of the day but at least it doesn't move. I think I might need a darker shade though, as this looks a bit too light sometimes.
Urban Decay "Eyeshadow Primer Potion" - I haven't tried a lot of eyelid primers but this really does hold your shadows in place. I don't feel the need to try something else as this is such a great product!
The Body Shop "Honey Bronzer in no 2" - Great bronzer, not too pigmented but gives just enough colour to your face.
Maybelline "Lash Sensational mascara" - This is brilliant. Gives my lashes a lot of volume, and some lenght too. This is the mascara the Clinique balm won't take off, but the majority of it washes easily off with just warm water..
Loreal "Brow Artist Plumper in brown" - If you just want to brush through your brows with a little tint this is great. Gives colour but not too much. I usually use a pencil as well as my brows are a bit sparse..
Depend "Eyebrow pencil in Taupe" - This is the perfect ashy shade for me. The formula is creamy but not too much, it stays on all day. Very easy to work with.
MAC "Dervish lip pencil" - The perfect "My lips but better" shade. Love it! It's quite a hard pencil so I usually wear some sort of balm or gloss on my lips and put this on top. Perfect!
Have you tried any of these products? Thoughts? What have been your favourites through summer?

Empties #3
More empties as I am trying to use up products I have in my collection.. So here's what I have to share this time.
Redken Extreme shampoo - Great shampoo that smells amazing! Will repurchase at some point.
Colab Dry shampoo (New York) - Nah.. not a favourite. I think I got about five uses out of this and it's a full size bottle. Was very hard to get fresh looking hair as nothing happened. Didn't like the smell of this one either, didn't smell at all fruity to me. More perfume-y.
Batiste Dry shampoo (tropical) - This is awesome! My hair looks really clean after using this, though it leaves a bit of a powdery feeling. Very affordable and great scent too!
Orofluido beauty elixir - Really nice hair oil, smells great. I got this from my hairdresser once and I liked it. Not sure I'd buy the full size though.
Yves Rocher Red berries shower gel - A normal shower gel, good but nothing extra.
LdB Dreams & Wishes shower cream - This was a limited edition one from way back I recently found in a cupboard. Good one and smells heavenly!!
The Body Shop body butter (Vanilla brulee) - One of the Christmas limited edition ones. I really liked the creamy formula of this and the vanilla scent was really nice as well.
Soap & Glory Hand food - I liked the product a lot, but as I said before, I don't like the scent. And it's not even old and the scent has gone bad.. so I can't use it all up.
Laura Biagiotti "Laura" - I love this perfume! It's fresh and summery. I won't repurchase anytime soon though as I have too many fragrances to go through.
Britney Spears "Fantasy" - Another favourite fragrance, even though this is more of a teenagers perfume I can't help but loving it. I have a mini version as a backup.
Yves Rocher Moisture boost concentrate serum - I liked this a lot during the colder months as it is very moisturising. A little bit to heavy for me during spring/summer though, even if it is very light in texture.
ELF Makeup mist & set - Love love love. Holds the makeup in place. The spray isn't superfine though, but I don't mind as it is such a great spray.
Depend nailpolish remover - The only thing I use to get nailpolish of. It even gets of glitter polishes. I always have a bottle of this!
Yves Rocher hydra lipbalm - Ok balm. Didn't like the grape scent though..
Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara - Just a sample but this is a great mascara. Really liked it!

Empties #1
Jag har samlat på mig ett gäng tomma förpackningar, så här kommer några minirecensioner.
I've collected lots of empties, so here's a few mini reviews.
I've collected lots of empties, so here's a few mini reviews.
Redken Extreme Shampoo x2 - The best shampoo I've ever used. Makes my hair so soft and bonus points for the amazing smell. Love it!
REN Revitalizing night cream - Just a mini sample but it was a good cream.
Rexona clear pure crystal - My favourite range of deodorants, smells great and does what it's supposed to.
Estée Lauder Advanced night repair - Oh yes! This is great! Very thin formula but I felt my skin really liked this one. Too bad it's so expensive but I'll purchase a fullsize, at some point.
Lee Stafford Dry shampoo - I've had this one for ages but just recently used it up. Leaves a white cast in my hair and smells VERY much. I'm not to keen on the scent really and in my opinion there are better dry shampoos out there. Won't by again.
Lancôme Genefique yeux eyecream - I liked it even though it didn't do anything extra. But good moisturizing cream.
Lancôme Genefique yeux light pearl - Lighter texture than the one before, but this one had a cooling applicator thingy which I liked.
Lancôme Genefique youth activator - Felt good on the skin, but since it's just a mini one I couldn't really tell if it did much for my skin.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat - This is a ok moisturiser, however it didn't mattify my skin very well, maybe for an hour or two. I prefer the Effaclar Duo.
The Body Shop Tea Tree blemish gel - This one didn't do much for me to be honest. And it's not very much product for your money.
DJV Beautenizer Volume lash - I love this mascara! One of my favourites and I always try to have a backup of this one. It stays on all day without smudging and is easily washed of with warm water.
Fruit & Berries Pomegranate body butter - I really liked this one, not too thick body butter so it's not sticky on the skin. It's really affordable and smells great too.
Soap & Glory The righteous butter - Oh, the consistency of this product is great. However, I wasn't too keen on the scent. It didn't smell as good as I had hoped after hearing a lot of Youtubers raving about it.
Soap & Glory Clean on me shower gel - Great product, I really liked it. But once again.. the scent.
Kérastase Resistance Ciment Anti-Usure - Amazing conditioner which left my hair feeling soft and silky. Lovely scent too. Would definitely buy full size.
That's all. Sorry this was a bit long.. ;)
