New in - makeup

Hi guys!

There's been a lot of great sales recently and I managed to find a few makeup products from one of our Pharmacies here in Sweden, Apotek Hjärtat. They had 50% off of their Apolosophy makeup range and I bought four products.

Apolosophy Powder "Sheer Transparant" Very light formula, feels a little bit blurring and almost have a cooling feeling on the skin.
Apolosophy Blush "Happy Pink" It's very pink and very pigmented so you don't need much. Beautiful and long wearing.
Apolosophy Bronzer "Dark Bronze" This is gorgeous! And even though it says "Dark bronze" I don't think it TOO dark, it's the perfect tan shade.
Apolosophy Foundation "Rosy Vanilla" It's surprisingly long lasting on me, usually all foundations except Estee Lauder Double Wear disappears on me. But this one from Apolosophy is really good. It has medium coverage amd feels light weight on the skin.

I really like these products and highly recommend them. Looking forward to try more of their products in the future.

New in - Recent purchases

Today I wanted to share some recent purchases I've made. These were from last year, I'd say November-December. Most of them were on sale. Black Friday and leading up to Christmas had some amazing discounts in store. This is what I found...

Mini trio fragrances - Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb, YSL Black Opium and Georgio Armani Si. (The Armani one is not a favourite, but I really like the other two)

Recent purchases / New in beauty

Today I thought I'd share a few new things I've bought the last few weeks (months on a couple)

TiKei Mineral primer - Repurchase. I use this as my setting powder and it's great!
H&M Colour Essence eye pencil "Into the blue" - I wanted a dark blue pencil and I love the formula of the H&M ones. Stays put all day even in the waterline.
Juicy Couture "Viva la juicy Glacé" - The cutest bottle ever! And the scent is lovely and sweet too.
Isadora Light & Shade eye shadow "Khaki blues" - I haven't really used this yet, but Isadora shadows are usually pretty good.
Juicy Couture "Viva la juicy Fleur" - I bought this during a 50% off sale a few months back and I really like it. It's a fresh floral scent.
Real Techniques "Blush brush" - The brush with this print I think was limited with the book or DVD Pixiwoo released a while back. This one was sold seperately though.
Kicks Dip Brow "Dark Blonde" - Haven't tried this one yet.
Juicy Couture "Viva la juicy Sucré" - I LOVE this scent. Sweet and vanilla cupcake, can't go wrong.
Clinique "Moisture surge" - I've only tried a sample of this and liked it a lot. Using up something else before I start this.
Clinique "Moisture surge hydrating supercharge concentrate" - Just got this and haven't tried it yet.
The Body Shop "Banana conditioner" - Heard a lot of good things about this. Haven't tried it yet, using up something else first.

Summer / August favourites

I know I haven't done a favourites post before but I thought today I would share what I've been loving thruough August, and for most of the summer really.

Mostly makeup but also a few skincare items and a perfume. This is my thoughts...

Juicy Couture "Viva La Juicy Sucré" - This is such a sweet and cosy scent. It's soft but I think it stays on for several hours on me. I bought the 100 ml bottle, that's how much I love it.

REN "Clarifying toner" - I had used this before and stopped for some reason, probably because I was trying something else. But recently I've had some issues with breakouts and I started using this again and though it's not solved the issue completely it's definitely looking better. I'm thinking my skin likes the acids in this..

Clinique "Take the day off balm" - I was curious to try this as I've heard Caroline Hirons talking about it (before she released her own balm cleanser) and it's really good. Takes off all of my makeup, except for my mascara weirdly enough. But I don't mind using something else for that.

Tikei "Mineral Primer" - I rediscovered this in my stash when I needed a good powder during this summer. It's really porefilling and keeps my foundation in place and looking matte. This is something I struggle with during summer as my skin is super oily. But this helped a lot!

Estee Lauder "Double Wear foundation in Fresco" - This is the best foundation I've ever tried. It stays in place all day and it's not heavy on the skin. I do get some shine come thru at the end of the day but at least it doesn't move. I think I might need a darker shade though, as this looks a bit too light sometimes.

Urban Decay "Eyeshadow Primer Potion" - I haven't tried a lot of eyelid primers but this really does hold your shadows in place. I don't feel the need to try something else as this is such a great product!

The Body Shop "Honey Bronzer in no 2" - Great bronzer, not too pigmented but gives just enough colour to your face.

Maybelline "Lash Sensational mascara" - This is brilliant. Gives my lashes a lot of volume, and some lenght too. This is the mascara the Clinique balm won't take off, but the majority of it washes easily off with just warm water..

Loreal "Brow Artist Plumper in brown" - If you just want to brush through your brows with a little tint this is great. Gives colour but not too much. I usually use a pencil as well as my brows are a bit sparse..

Depend "Eyebrow pencil in Taupe" - This is the perfect ashy shade for me. The formula is creamy but not too much, it stays on all day. Very easy to work with.

MAC "Dervish lip pencil" - The perfect "My lips but better" shade. Love it! It's quite a hard pencil so I usually wear some sort of balm or gloss on my lips and put this on top. Perfect!

Online shopping haul (Feelunique)

Feelunique had an amazing sale recently and there were a few things I wanted to get so I decided to place an order. Here's what I got.

Real Techniques brushes are pretty much the only ones I use. I needed a few more so I got the Starter set and the Blush brush.
I wanted to try the Fleur loves lashes since they were released last year, but they're always sold out at Feelunique which is the only place I can get them from. But now they finally were in stock so I decided to get two and also the single lashes. They had 70% off of the Fleur de Force beauty stuff so I got the Lunar rose quad and the Starlight gloss. I haven't tried these shadows yet but I have the Cosmic bronze quad and it's really good quality. The gloss is awesome, feels so good on the lips and this one is quite sheer in colour but I kinda like that.
And I was very curious of the Zoella body mist in the Sweet inspirations scent and decided to try it. It's always a little bit scary to buy a fragrance when you can't try before you buy, but this one smells heavenly. The dry down is very vanillary, such a nice scent. The body cream I haven't tried yet.

New in - Fleur de Force beauty

Hey all!

I finally got my hands on some of the products of the lovely youtuber Fleur de Force beauty range. I got one of the Beauty bundles sold at feelunique.com and in it were four products - the makeup bag which is supercute with pastel coloring and rose gold details and it's huge! You also get the Cosmic bronze eyeshadow quad, the Written in the stars lipgloss and a pair of Simply Fleur falsh eyelashes. Such a bargain! I haven't had a chance to try all the products properly yet but it looks promising. The only thing I have tried so far is the lipgloss and I really like it. It's the perfect "my lips but better" colour, very creamy and smooth - not sticky at all and it smells like something you'd want to eat. So thumbs up on the gloss! I also wanted to get the Fleur loves lashes, the 3/4 ones but they're sold out unfortunately.. Hope they'll be back in stock soon.

Dior Addict perfume + gift with purchase

Hey all!

As you may or may not know I absolutely love perfumes and I'm always on the hunt for "the perfect scent". So I thought I'd share one of my favourites with you all today. It's the Dior Addict. I love it so much!! When I first tried it in store it was actually the Addict Eau Fraiche I was intrested in, but the sales woman sprayed the Addict instead and I was completely sold. I didn't buy it at that time, I always want to try a scent a few times before I buy just to be sure I really like it and think it suits me. But when I finally decided to get it I was lucky enough to get a really awesome gift with purchase - a make up bag filled with mini products. Yup. I did a 'lil happy dance when I got home and saw the goodies I got! ;)

Hello, I'm back with a few more empties. Here we go..

Dove shampoo x2 "Daily moisture" and "Nourishing oil care" - I really like these, I think the Dove shampoo range is the best drugstore shampoos I've used. Super affordable so I'll keep buying these.
Dove "intensive repair" conditioner - I like it just as much as the shampoo.
Kiehl's ''Creamy eye treatment with avocado'' - I don't think I've ever used a green cream before this, but it is a really good one, very creamy as the name says. Very moisturising. Will probably repurchase later on.
Emma S "Moisturising serum" - This serum is very thin but I like that as I have oily skin. During summer I can get away with this as my only moisturiser and it's very light on the skin. Will repurchase later on.
Glam Glow "supermud mask" - Oh yes this is amazing! I bought the small size to try to see if it was worth all the hype and yes, it was. My skin felt so clean after using this and it didn't dry out either. I'm going to have to repurchase this even if it's crazy expensive.
Lancôme "Visionnaire serum" - A very creamy serum with a slight shimmer to it. You can even use it on the under eye area. Smells lovely, and I usually don't like rose scented products.
Benefit "Roller lash mascara" - I got to try this before it was released to try out and review. At the time I didn't know what mascara it was. But oh, I love it!!! Creamy formula, very black and it gave my lashes both volume and a little lenght. Stayed on all day without smudging and was easy to get off. I'd recommend it!

Nivea "Massage peeling shower" - This was a very creamy shower peeling. I liked it.
Yves Rocher "Jardins du Monde Pommegranate" shower gel - Good one.
Loréal "Eye & Lip makeup remover" - The best makeup remover I've tried. Gets everything off. Already repurchased a new one.
Dove "Go fresh deodorant" - Did what it should. Nice cucumber scent.
Body Shop "Frosted cranberry body butter" - Mini of the Christmas limited edition collection. Great formula but this wasn't one of my favourite scents though.
Body Shop "Seaweed mattifying day cream" - Very light texture and it workes great on oily skin. Might repurchase at some point.

Lipgloss collection clear out

I'm a lipgloss junkie, let's face it. I prefer a lipgloss over a lipstick pretty much all the time, but I realised I had WAY too many glosses I never use anymore. The main reason is because they're too old and no one wants to use old glosses, right? So, I decided to go through what I own and toss some away...
This is the current collection.

I have an obsession for pink lipgloss as you can see... and a few nude/brownish shades too.

There's a mix of brands, IsaDora, ELF, Maybelline, H&M, Clarins, Max Factor, Bare Minerals, Dior, Tikei, Tanya Burr and Sally Hansen.

There were 41 lipglosses to go through, and I only kept 8 of them... EIGHT.

Well, I guess I'm allowed to purchase a few more now.. right? ;)

Nytt från Kicks och Max Factor

Två nyheter som har fått flytta in i min sminkväska är dels Kicks Cream Shadow Stick i färgen Burnt Sand som är en supersnygg taupe-ig färg. Jag brukar nästan aldrig lyckas få till ögonskugga snyggt och om jag mot förmodan lyckas så nog sjutton lägger den sej då i diverse ögonlocksveck. Kan ju bero på att jag haft en mindre bra primer tidigare för nu har jag provat Kicks skugga med en primer från Urban Decay och tamejtusan det sitter som berg. :D Väldigt lättjobbad dessutom, jag har suddat ut med fingrarna och det funkar jättebra. 99 kr kostar den.

Köpte även ett Colour Elixir Intensifying Balm från Max Factor som jag tror är en nyhet. Superskönt balm som ger sådär lite lagom med färg, perfekt varjedagfärg. Refined Rose nr 30 är den jag har. Kostar 95 kr på Kicks.
