Empties #5

Hey all!

It's time for another empties post. Here's the stuff I used up over the last couple of months.

Dove Intensive repair shampoo x2 - This is a really good budget shampoo in my opinion. I like this one best of the Dove range.
Dove Daily moisture shampoo - Was ok, but not as good as the Intensive repair.
L'oréal Eye & Lip eye make-up remover - This is one you have to shake before you use it, works great on all make-up even waterproof as it says on the bottle. I use this to take of my foundation as well. Already have a back up.

The Body Shop Passion fruit shower gel - I love The Body Shop shower gels, they are the best ones and this one smells sooo good. To bad they don't sell it anymore. Have a back up though and would repurchase if they'd bring it back.
The Body Shop Early harvest raspberry shower gel - Well, the same goes for this one. I absolutely love it! Such a shame it was just limited edition.
Rexona deodorant - Best range of deodorants I've tried.
Origins GinZing moisturiser - This smells of oranges! Soo good! I liked the cream too, it's very light and was perfect during the summer. Will repurchase at some point.
ELF Makeup mist & set - The best setting spray I've tried. The only thing is it doesn't spray very even, but it's not too bad.

Nicki Minaj Onika Edp - Oh yes, this is one of my all time favourite fragrances. It smells sooo good!! I can't really describe the scent other than it's amazing. You have to try it!!!
H&M Lime Coconut body splash - I used this as a room spray and for that it worked just fine.
Yves Saint Laurent Forever youth liberator eye cream - I got this as a free sample when I ordered something else, and it was good. Not sure I'd buy again because of the price tag...
Calvin Klein CK one EdT - This one I also used as a room spray because it's too much citrus notes in it for me to wear as a perfume.
Isadora Anti-Shine mattifying powder - I've used this for years and it's good and maybe I'll get it again but for now I use a powder from Rimmel.

Have you tried any of these products? Thoughts and opinions anyone?

Review - Amika shampoo and mask

Hey all!

I posted a haul of Amika products many months ago now and I realised I never wrote a review of any of the products I got. So I thought maybe I should do that today. :)
Just to let you know, my hair is typical scandinavian, straight, thin and flat with zero volume.

Here we go...

Amika Triple Rx Shampoo - I got this hoping it would help with my dry and itchy scalp. Maybe it got a little bit better, at least it didn't get worse. This shampoo is sulphate free and that's supposed to be a good thing right? Well not for me I'm afraid. I've tried a few sulphate free shampoos and I can never get my hair clean when I use them. I'm always left with oily and greasy roots and that's not what I want when I wash my hair. I got the same result with the Amika Rx. The weird thing is the ends of my hair got so so dry and it was super difficult to brush it even after using the mask. And the shampoo is supposed to be best for "dry and damaged hair".. I used up half the bottle before I gave up. Wont repurchase. 1/5

Amika Nourishing Mask - This is a good one! Not paired with the Amika Rx shampoo though, for my hair these two weren't a good combination. But when I use the mask after any other shampoo it is amazing. Thick and creamy and it's no problem brushing even wet hair, the brush glides easy peasy through my hair. I love it and would recommend it to everyone! 5/5

Make Up Store - Twenty Forever

Hey all! :)

I wanted to share a lovely body butter I found in the sale a few months back. It's from the Swedish brand Make Up Store and when I found it I had no idea they sold other products than makeup... I have clearly been missing out 'cause the scent "Twenty Forever" is one of the best scents ever. And isn't it ironic it's now been discontinued. :( (And yes the Alanis Morisette song "Ironic" is spinning in my head!)

Maybe I shouldn't share this as it's discontinued, but I thought maybe someone out there knows where to find the "Twenty Forever" Eau de parfum. I spoke to a lovely girl in one of the MUS stores and she said there will be new perfumes released, probably this year, but she had no idea what scents they'd bring out.

So I don't know, maybe "Twenty Forever" is gone forever? Anyone who knows? Don't be shy, tell me!! :)

Review Britney Spears Fantasy Intimate Edition

Hey, long time no see!
Since my last post I still have had major issues with my computer, that's the reason for no new posts on here. But hopefully the problem is solved now.
In my last post I promised mini reviews on some of the things I had purchased, so.. the first one out is the new Britney Spears fragrance, Fantasy Intimate Edition.

First of all, how cute is the bottle! It's the same shape as all of the other Fantasy fragrances, but this definitely the prettiest in my opinion. I mean white and rose gold!!
The scent is soo good too! When you first spray it it has a hint of the original Fantasy, but when it sets this is more creamy and vanillary (if that's even a word...?) and it's much more mature than the original scent. I think anyone can wear this, from teenager and up.
The topnotes are: litchi, violet leaf and Italian lemon. Middlenotes are: lily of the valley, jasmine, brown sugar, genet and ozone. And the basenotes are: vanilla, heliotrope, benzoin and white musk.
This fragrance is a Eau de parfum and on me it lasts all day. I have to say I think this is the best perfume she's ever done, it's THAT good!!! If you like Britney's fragrances you need this one!

Have you tried it? What are your thoughts on it?

Empties #4

Hello, I'm back with a few more empties. Here we go..

Dove shampoo x2 "Daily moisture" and "Nourishing oil care" - I really like these, I think the Dove shampoo range is the best drugstore shampoos I've used. Super affordable so I'll keep buying these.
Dove "intensive repair" conditioner - I like it just as much as the shampoo.
Kiehl's ''Creamy eye treatment with avocado'' - I don't think I've ever used a green cream before this, but it is a really good one, very creamy as the name says. Very moisturising. Will probably repurchase later on.
Emma S "Moisturising serum" - This serum is very thin but I like that as I have oily skin. During summer I can get away with this as my only moisturiser and it's very light on the skin. Will repurchase later on.
Glam Glow "supermud mask" - Oh yes this is amazing! I bought the small size to try to see if it was worth all the hype and yes, it was. My skin felt so clean after using this and it didn't dry out either. I'm going to have to repurchase this even if it's crazy expensive.
Lancôme "Visionnaire serum" - A very creamy serum with a slight shimmer to it. You can even use it on the under eye area. Smells lovely, and I usually don't like rose scented products.
Benefit "Roller lash mascara" - I got to try this before it was released to try out and review. At the time I didn't know what mascara it was. But oh, I love it!!! Creamy formula, very black and it gave my lashes both volume and a little lenght. Stayed on all day without smudging and was easy to get off. I'd recommend it!

Nivea "Massage peeling shower" - This was a very creamy shower peeling. I liked it.
Yves Rocher "Jardins du Monde Pommegranate" shower gel - Good one.
Loréal "Eye & Lip makeup remover" - The best makeup remover I've tried. Gets everything off. Already repurchased a new one.
Dove "Go fresh deodorant" - Did what it should. Nice cucumber scent.
Body Shop "Frosted cranberry body butter" - Mini of the Christmas limited edition collection. Great formula but this wasn't one of my favourite scents though.
Body Shop "Seaweed mattifying day cream" - Very light texture and it workes great on oily skin. Might repurchase at some point.

Beauty summer sale

I managed to make some crazy bargains in the sale last week, almost everything was half the price or more.

Bliss "Micro magic" - was 50% off at Åhléns. Too good to be true! ;)
Hilfiger woman "Cheerfully pink" - smells sooo good, fruity and fresh!
Maybelline Color Show "Pink boom" - I love pink nail polish.
Lancome "Gloss in love" in #391 - instead of 285 swedish kronor as it usually cost I paid 86 kronor. Crazy! I couldn't resist..

What bargains have you got in the sale?

The Body Shop sale

I made a little visit to the Body Shop sale last week and left the store with a few favourites.

Stocked up on the Early harvest raspberry collection from last year which is one of my favourites and a couple of products of the Passion fruit also. And I got a Strawberry body polish for free. I'm all set now! ;)

Collective haul - more new things

A few more new things I've purchased over the last weeks.

Body Shop - Strawberry body butter and shower gel. Smells amazing, just like strawberries!
Yves Rocher - Grapefruit shower gel and face mist. Again, smells great!

Dove - summer glow gradual tan. Tried this before and I liked it. Gives a natural looking tan.
Kicks - Self tanning mousse and Self tanning face gel. I havn't tried them yet, but read great reviews of 'em.
Origins - GinZing energy boosting moisturiser. I like Origins as a brand so hopefully I'll like this one too.

Have you tried any of these products? Thoughts?

Empties #3

More empties as I am trying to use up products I have in my collection.. So here's what I have to share this time.

Redken Extreme shampoo - Great shampoo that smells amazing! Will repurchase at some point.
Colab Dry shampoo (New York) - Nah.. not a favourite. I think I got about five uses out of this and it's a full size bottle. Was very hard to get fresh looking hair as nothing happened. Didn't like the smell of this one either, didn't smell at all fruity to me. More perfume-y.
Batiste Dry shampoo (tropical) - This is awesome! My hair looks really clean after using this, though it leaves a bit of a powdery feeling. Very affordable and great scent too!
Orofluido beauty elixir - Really nice hair oil, smells great. I got this from my hairdresser once and I liked it. Not sure I'd buy the full size though.

Yves Rocher Red berries shower gel - A normal shower gel, good but nothing extra.
LdB Dreams & Wishes shower cream - This was a limited edition one from way back I recently found in a cupboard. Good one and smells heavenly!!
The Body Shop body butter (Vanilla brulee) - One of the Christmas limited edition ones. I really liked the creamy formula of this and the vanilla scent was really nice as well.
Soap & Glory Hand food - I liked the product a lot, but as I said before, I don't like the scent. And it's not even old and the scent has gone bad.. so I can't use it all up.

Laura Biagiotti "Laura" - I love this perfume! It's fresh and summery. I won't repurchase anytime soon though as I have too many fragrances to go through.
Britney Spears "Fantasy" - Another favourite fragrance, even though this is more of a teenagers perfume I can't help but loving it. I have a mini version as a backup.
Yves Rocher Moisture boost concentrate serum - I liked this a lot during the colder months as it is very moisturising. A little bit to heavy for me during spring/summer though, even if it is very light in texture.
ELF Makeup mist & set - Love love love. Holds the makeup in place. The spray isn't superfine though, but I don't mind as it is such a great spray.
Depend nailpolish remover - The only thing I use to get nailpolish of. It even gets of glitter polishes. I always have a bottle of this!
Yves Rocher hydra lipbalm - Ok balm. Didn't like the grape scent though..
Estée Lauder Sumptuous Extreme mascara - Just a sample but this is a great mascara. Really liked it!

Lipgloss collection clear out

I'm a lipgloss junkie, let's face it. I prefer a lipgloss over a lipstick pretty much all the time, but I realised I had WAY too many glosses I never use anymore. The main reason is because they're too old and no one wants to use old glosses, right? So, I decided to go through what I own and toss some away...
This is the current collection.

I have an obsession for pink lipgloss as you can see... and a few nude/brownish shades too.

There's a mix of brands, IsaDora, ELF, Maybelline, H&M, Clarins, Max Factor, Bare Minerals, Dior, Tikei, Tanya Burr and Sally Hansen.

There were 41 lipglosses to go through, and I only kept 8 of them... EIGHT.

Well, I guess I'm allowed to purchase a few more now.. right? ;)

New in - collective haul

I've purchased some new things the last few weeks and I thought I'd share what I got.

Origins GinZing refreshing scrub cleanser. I use this after I've taken my makeup off or in the morning, it smells heavenly of oranges.
GlamGlow Supercleanse. I've only tried it once so far, but my skin felt super clean afterwards, so I'm hoping this will be as good as the mask.
Yves Rocher Green Tea shower gel + body lotion. Haven't tried these yet.

Apotek hjärtat Mild duschgel (showergel). I got this as a birthday gift from the pharmacy as I am a club member there.
Dove shampoo x3 Nurishing oil care, Intensive repair and Daily moisture. I use the Daily moisture at the moment and it's really good for my hair, feels really clean.
Dove Intensive repair conditioner. What I use at the moment, and I like it a lot.

Have you tried any of these products, thoughts?

Bliss - micromagic + body butter

I recieved two test products from Bliss in the mail a couple of days ago. I was one of 50 lucky people who got to try their two products which was nominated in the Swedish Beauty & Cosmetic Awards, "Micromagic" and "Grapefruit + aloe body butter".

Micromagic is a microdermabrasion treatment which contains skinsmoothing volcanic pumice, conditioning vitamin E and soothing aloe to help treat the appearence of dullness and surface imperfections.
I've only tried the product once so far, but I loved it. I'm guessing it's the volcanic pumice that makes it so amazing, the graines are super tiny and everywhere in the cream, nothing like a "regular" scrub. In my opinion Micromagic is worth it's name.

The Grapefruit + aloe body butter is also great. It feels so soft on the skin and doesn't leave a greasy residue that a lot of other body butters do. It's rich and moisturising but not too thick.. Amazing scent too!
I'm definitely going to purchase these products when I run out of what I have in my drawers.

Empties #2

Here's a load of stuff I used up lately... and mini reviews.

TIGI Bed Head "Urban Anti-Dotes Resurrection 3 shampoo" - The shampoo is ok, but because of the huge bottle I got sick of it when I was halfway through... And I still have half the bottle of conditioner left. Don't think I'll buy again.
FUDGE "Iced Raspberry & Vanilla hairspray" - Good hairspray with great scent. Might repurchase at some point.
Emma S "Moisturising day cream" - I use this during the colder months and it works great. But it gets to heavy and greasy on me during spring/summer.
Yves Rocher ''Jardins du Monde Macadamianut shower cream'' - I liked it, but the scent wasn't my favourite.
L'oréal ''Voluminous mascara'' - Great everyday mascara, but no extreme volume noticed on my lashes.
DJV Beautenizer ''volume lash mascara'' - Love it! Lots of volume and a bit lengthening too. Stays on all day and washes of easily with warm water.
ELF "Zit zapper'' - Yes it actually works. Glad I have backups of this as ELF isn't sold in Europe for much longer.
Clinique "Even better skin tone correcting lotion" - Only a mini sample but it got bad really quick, smelt weird. So I couldn't use it more than a few times.
Clinique ''7 day scrub cream'' - Really liked this. Gentle enough to use everyday.
Yves Rocher ''Flowerparty summer showergel'' - Liked the scent on this but the product made my skin a bit dry.
Karin Herzog ''Vita-A-Kombi 2'' - Had high hopes for this one as I got matched this would be great for my oily skin. But no, I found it did nothing and the cream was too thick for me. And the oilyness remained... Extremely expensive too so I'm not going to buy this again.
Body Shop "Olive Body butter" - I found this was a little too thick and heavy. It felt sticky on my skin. I'm not a fan of the Olive scent in the BB either, but weirdly I love the Olive shower gel scent...
Davidoff "Cool water woman Shower breeze and Moisturising lotion" - Lovely products and amazing fresh scent.
Britney Spears "Fantasy Body Souffle'' - The product is a bit sticky I feel, but I love the scent, smells just like the Fantasy perfume.

Fotat utan blixt.

Har du testat någon av dessa?

Amika haircare haul

Recently my hairdresser recommended the Amika Rx shampoo and the Nourishing mask for my dry and itchy scalp. I found a great price for the duo online so I thought I'd give them a go. A few days later I saw a 3 for 2 offer so I decided to also get a few styling products; the touchable hairspray, the perk up dry shampoo and also the bombshell blowout spray. I just got them so I haven't had a chance to try any of the products yet, but I can't wait to do so. Also, I love the cute and colourfull packaging.
Have you tried any products of the Amika range? Thoughts and opinions?

Empties #1

Jag har samlat på mig ett gäng tomma förpackningar, så här kommer några minirecensioner.

I've collected lots of empties, so here's a few mini reviews.

Redken Extreme Shampoo x2 - The best shampoo I've ever used. Makes my hair so soft and bonus points for the amazing smell. Love it!
REN Revitalizing night cream - Just a mini sample but it was a good cream.
Rexona clear pure crystal - My favourite range of deodorants, smells great and does what it's supposed to.
Estée Lauder Advanced night repair - Oh yes! This is great! Very thin formula but I felt my skin really liked this one. Too bad it's so expensive but I'll purchase a fullsize, at some point.
Lee Stafford Dry shampoo - I've had this one for ages but just recently used it up. Leaves a white cast in my hair and smells VERY much. I'm not to keen on the scent really and in my opinion there are better dry shampoos out there. Won't by again.
Lancôme Genefique yeux eyecream - I liked it even though it didn't do anything extra. But good moisturizing cream.
Lancôme Genefique yeux light pearl - Lighter texture than the one before, but this one had a cooling applicator thingy which I liked.
Lancôme Genefique youth activator - Felt good on the skin, but since it's just a mini one I couldn't really tell if it did much for my skin.
La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat - This is a ok moisturiser, however it didn't mattify my skin very well, maybe for an hour or two. I prefer the Effaclar Duo.
The Body Shop Tea Tree blemish gel - This one didn't do much for me to be honest. And it's not very much product for your money.
DJV Beautenizer Volume lash - I love this mascara! One of my favourites and I always try to have a backup of this one. It stays on all day without smudging and is easily washed of with warm water.
Fruit & Berries Pomegranate body butter - I really liked this one, not too thick body butter so it's not sticky on the skin. It's really affordable and smells great too.
Soap & Glory The righteous butter - Oh, the consistency of this product is great. However, I wasn't too keen on the scent. It didn't smell as good as I had hoped after hearing a lot of Youtubers raving about it.
Soap & Glory Clean on me shower gel - Great product, I really liked it. But once again.. the scent.
Kérastase Resistance Ciment Anti-Usure - Amazing conditioner which left my hair feeling soft and silky. Lovely scent too. Would definitely buy full size.

That's all. Sorry this was a bit long.. ;)

Ready for pastel spring

Hittade dessa finingar på H&M häromdagen. Jag älskar pastellfärgade lack och kunde inte motstå dom här från Depend's vårkollektion, rosa #438 och turkos #435.

New lovely pastel nail polishes from Depend's spring collection, pink #438 and turquoise #435.

Shopping at Body Shop

The other day I went in to The Body Shop to hopefully find the Glazed Apple bodybutter in the sale. Mission impossible, sold out. But at least I found the eau de toilette and stocked up on two of them, I love love love the scent. <3 I also found the Sweet Lemon bodybutter, had never seen it before, only read about it. It smells really good so I couldn't resist getting one. Have you tried any of these products? Your thoughts?
